Spuds taking over the plot

Cannellini Beans sown
Very productive afternoon down on the allotment.  Managed to plant more potatoes. But still got more to go in. It's back breaking work. Just shows how unfit I am  .... shattered after almost 3 1/2 hours.  My daughter helped me make a mini bean support until we can get some bigger sticks, it will do whilst they start off.  Planted some Cannelloni beans, not tried these before and looking forward to harvesting them and using in stews and salads.  Also sowed some broad beans, sweetcorn and perpetual spinach in tubs.

Now sitting down and aching all over but feeling very pleased as we got loads done.
Left to Right ~ Broad Beans, Perpetual Spinach & Sweetcorn
Plot No. 26 Filling up nicely, still lots of space down the centre and to the left for more fruit and brassicas in middle
Nice view across the Allotments on a nice sunny but very windy day
Rows and rows of Potatoes ~ Roosters, charlotte, Maris Peers, Red Duke of York and King Edwards - still got some Maris pipers to go in yet
Another view across the Allotments, a few other plots being worked on today, still all on starting blocks.  Cannot wait until everything starts growing and greenery and flowers everywhere
