My latest Quilt is growing

I have had a very rewarding morning growing my latest quilt project.  I have completed another block of 7 x 4 : 4" squares and started adding the boarders between blocks.  It will be finished in no time.

It that a Scottie Dog I see

I have just finished making a cute little cushion from some lovely green upholstery fabric and a lovely mauve floral and little gingham green checked fabric to make a cute little Scottie dog with scarf applique.

The start of something ... Quilty

Busy morning starting a quilt, pretty mix of pinks, blue, beige and cream patterned fabrics.  

Will be 9 rows of 7 - 4" squares, with a boarder or blue and white, backed in white brushed cotton to make it as soft as I can.  Will make an ideal quilt for a little one soon hopefully.

Managed to make three rows of 7 x 4" squares so far.  Taking care on this one to make sure it is just perfect.  Pressing every seam as I go and top stitching to keep those seams clean and tidy.

Finished block will be approx 28" x 36" then a boarder of blue & white.
